yes, let us all take the time to analyze the footprints of the mechs in the battlefield as if it were some CSI class.

who needs actually firing at the mech and killing mechs right?

Whatever Mech made the footprint, it generally regrets stepping within range and sight of my weapons.

So far that policy has worked well for me. 'Course, it helps to know whether I'm fighting a Dire Wolf or Adder.

EDIT: I need to stop bloody posting on my mobile...

It might help to track down the lone light that shuts down in the corner of a map. (too bad footprints disappear 20m away)

More footprints... but without a game. The following footprint is similar to Trebuchet, Orion, Victor and Thunderbolt.

The Jagermech.

Thanks to "JesusbuiltmyBattlemech" for the picture.

This is another riddle but this time it's "Mystery Edition". ;)

There is one mech who doesn't leave a trace. Just at rare moments you can find a footprint but... most of the time, there are none. It's like a silent assassin, killing without any traces left.

But here is one of the rare ones:

Posted Image

Maybe it's just a half footprint, I don't know exactly... but I wasn't able to get anything else. That's indeed mysterious, isn't it?

It's a Warhawk!

For some reason the Kintaro comes to mind. Maybe the Awesome or Banshee.

Ye, reminds me my Banshee too... but, that has very strong footprints...

Awesome has a similary footprint to the Jager/Treb./Orion/Victor/etc.. once... (Why don't become those poors, an own one? )

I never saw footprints from a DW... perhaps I was now fast enough.. or it is some secret Clan Tech... or, because, the most player thinks, it is a sea-animal..

The endpart has similarity to the Wolverine.. but till, I never found a whole footprint from that... I am not sure...

I say... Wolverine

Well we already figured out that footprints aren't unique, plus, new mechs seem to be using old footprints that have nothing to do with the shape of their legs so it can be anything ... I guess if it doesn't leave footprints its a bug and if it haven't been fixed yet then it is probably a newer mech. I'd guess Vindicator ...

Scratch that, let it be DireWolf.

Vindi doesn't have that reputation though (or if it does I have completely missed it!)

I am thinking over that bit of the clue, and trying to think of what mechs I have that do not leave footprints often.
(there were a few I had a hard time getting pics of....)

The next mech footprint comes without a riddle because of two reasons:

The footprints also are very rare, same as the Warhawk ones. And it's nearly identical with the Atlas footprint.

This is the Dire Wolf.

CSI Crimson Strait continues... :)

Finally this game continues because we got some more mechs what makes the game more interesting. In October 2014 there were not much mechs left to examine.

Here's the new one:
