Hardpoint Bug - Weapons Move Themselves To Wrong Hardpoints

As detailed in the below screenshots, I have weapons that move themselves to undesirable hard points. During the build, I specifically want to mount long range energy weapons at the highest torso positions. This seems to work until I save. After saving, when you launch with this mech, the weapon in the highest hardpoint moves down to the lowest hardpoint by itself. It does this whenever the model is re-loaded so that even if you just click on the next mech in the mech bay and then come back, you will find that the weapon has moved itself again.

I have tried every permutation of orders to get the weapon to the correct position but it always moves itself into the undesired position. After a lot more testing, this is randomly affecting both left and right torsos depending on the order that you build the mech. No matter what I have tried, at least one side is always broken. To reproduce, it's best to configure both sides the same way to get this to happen.

With the quickdraw 5K at least when equipping PPCs and lasers along in the same torso, PPCs always end up in the lower spot and LLs or mls in the upper one. What I do (and it works whenever you want to mix PPCs and lasers, but not lasers with lasers) its to unequip all other energies besides the PPC, so that it's placed in the upper spot and save.

Click another mech, get back to your BLR, equip those medium lasers, save, click another mech in your hangar and get back to the BLR. If anything went fine, the ppcs will stay at the topmost spot. I don't have BLRs so I don't know if this may work or not.

Reordering of weapons occurs on several mechs and often only on one side.
'Tis rather bothersome and does require some attention.

This does not work in the BLG-G as weapons are pre-disposed to insert themselves into the lowest slot and auto-arrange themselves on one side of the mech all the time against the user's wishes.

Meh.. that's what happens always in the QKD 5K whenever you mix large lasers with medium laser... The LL will always end up in the lower spot or with the SRMs in the VTR 9S, the SRM6 will shoot from the 4 tube, the SRM2 from the 6 tube and the SRM4 from the 2 tubes. And as you say it's tremendously annoying. Hopefulluy in 2014 we'll be given the option to set each weapon in the desired place.

Have you tested that with new or used weapons?
I was told used weapons tend to rearrange themself for some obscure Slot Preference Routine that does not affect new weapons...
I did not test it on the BLR but on my SHD new weapons solved the problem for me.

The ER PPC I am testing with was bought brand new for the purpose of trying to high mount it so no, a new weapon did not alleviate this issue. The slot preference seems to fluctuate to either the left or right hand side when both are configured.

Mech weapon customization should be a feature of this game, not some random code equation occurrence.
