Well, for starters, not everyone celebrates Christmas. So to them, it's just another day, albeit maybe a paid day off of work.
Two, not everyone spends the entire day with Christmas. Especially those without children. So, this is not necessarily a *bad* thing.

And some of us celebrate Christmas on the 24th... also, no one says it's a "one-day-only-challenge". Might last a week for all we know.

Could be over the course of a couple of days like all the other challenges were.... Or did it specifically say it's only during Christmasday?

Since Christmas falls on a Wed, it'll probably start on a Tuesday, ending on a Friday.

The text in the challenge specifically says December 25th 6:00 PM UTC. I'll go out on a limb and assume that would be when it is intended to start. I won't go so far out on the limb to say that is when it will start.

TBH, usually those dates listed IIRC are when the challenge ENDS.
