Besides the fact that I don't like the new version of Alpine while playing Conquest, Alpine is the only map with Conquest that you DO NOT start with a capped spawn point.

It was to my dismay knowing you would collect LESS than you normally would on Conquest just because the you would be used to the collection having started at the match start. Now you MUST cap to start the resource collection...

This is unacceptable and it's a bad ninja change (especially if intentional).

Honestly, I wish they had done it to every map. It would have added to tactical decision making and make conquest a more viable (and differentiated) game mode from assault.

Agreed. Resources should start at zero, with no collectors captured.

Conquest bases your income on those resources. This change efectively cuts all Conquest match winnings on Alpine.

I like that the you start without a cap but now the points are way too close together on this map. If you didn't like how far apart they were before then try taking something that isn't an assault 'mech.
