Incredible prices, for incredible mechs. If you buy the highest pack, it will be 10$ per mech, which actually is cheap in comparison to hero mechs. When considering that you get ALOT of stuff with it, it is fairly cheap.

Still, I think there should be option to buy for example all Mad Cats without buying the rest. Would make single mech cheaper, but you would lose all the bonus you would get by buying the pack.

Problem is that they did such a large pack that it gets really expensive if you want any of the top tier mechs.

Also they released this without any information on how they will implement the clans and their tech, how the other stuff offered will work or even what it is (warhorns?).

Hopefully more Inner Sphere players will start thinking in practical terms.

I've always wanted to see Jade Falcon vs Liao. Wolf vs Kurita. FWL against Ghost Bear. If Jihad comes out, Clan vs Blake would be amazing.

MASC Firemoths vs Raptor 2s.

I want to get at least the Puma Pack.

But I am going to wait a bit and see if PGI releases anything...if I like what I see mid-may I'll buy it.

If not...

Jade Falcon vs Liao? What a joke, House Liao is a wannabe Kurtia and are terrible at it. Jade Falcon need a real Challenge, like Stiener, Davion and Marik combined. Then maybe the Falcons might lose a mech or two.

EDIT: When can I change my allegiance to Clan Jade Falcon?!?

Lots more than 120. 210. o.o; But it's 210 for the Mad Cat plus all the mechs below it.

Honestly I'd like them to split it into two separate packages.

Liao is the one faction I would join if I had to, or I would join Merc Corps. Liao has the factors of stealth, technology, and have sneaky strats usually, so I personally like them. Kurita is more of an honor code faction with lots of energy weapons. But we won't know balance of factions till CW, so nobody can really say anything about them.

...and all this means absolutely nothing if CW doesn't come out in some capacity prior to the release of clan mechs.

Honestly, if this turns into just clan mechs and IS mechs fighting side-by-side with "supposedly" different "factions", I'm just going to quit.

I honestly don't know
The way they have thought out clan tech:

http://mwomercs.com/...gn-perspective/

Especially on omni mechs, is not realy making things interesting to me

Being stuck with whatever engine a mech comes with seems unusual to me since I've been swapping like I wanted to with IS tech
Also, stuck with armor values, endo and ferro has it's predetermined slots

And all that only so I could change a ballistic slot in the arm against an energy slot if I want to(and if it's canon)
I don't know, seems a bit too restrictive compared to IS mechs (in IS I just buy a variant that suits me the most)

At least to throw a lot of money at it without actually trying it out and knowing if PGI can actually deliver on CW, UI2.0 and DX11

Also I realy love the artwork, but I also did love the artwork on the locust, and I sold all locusts I could from my overlord package

Concepts look great, I can't wait to see them in full size.

However: what's with the underslung arm-LRM launcher on the Warhawk?

Sorry, but good concept art does not overrule the concept that clan mechs and IS mechs will be virutally interchangeable, and Liao players and Davions (both by 3051 had pretty much NO access to clan tech whatsoever) will be able to field Timber Wolf's and Kit Fox's like its nobody's business so long as they're willing to pay. Completely ruins the concept of "fighting the clans" if IS units can simply purchase clan mechs for a small fortune and use them at will.

Unless some restrictions come out regarding the use of clan mechs and weapons -SERIOUS restrictions - I'll probably just give up.

Also - Clan Mechs Revealed. Still no private lobbies.

Well, should be on top of him, similar to the Daishi.

Never was, it was either underslung, or sitting on the shoulder, but definitely on his arm, never on the torso.
