Nice but UI scale seems to be pretty much off.....Look at that lower left panel with c-bills/xp and down right panel with mech info.I bet you can barely read it.

Not impressed with it. Maybe try not showing the evil UI2.0?

hard to say from a low res picture, but it looks like your ui2.0 does not scale well. hopefully that will be adjustable, with out having to force lower res.

Seriously...what is the point?

Wasted space, item overload, tiny text...etc.

Simple is better.

So much effort into something that has little to do with actual game play.

It's a gross waste of space. It's worse when I have to select from multiple engines.

trying to understand the purpose of showing 4k resolution over most peoples monitors who don't HAVE 4k resolution?

(I'm sure it looks real nice though. But I have no intention of dropping 1000s on a new tv/monitor. Will stick to my 1280 47 incher.)

Looks stupid. Here's a free tip - scale the elements 2x at 4k using high res art assets.

It's a gross waste of time, you mean.

According to Brian it didn't waste any time. https://twitter.com/...551790169075712

How about you get Community Warfare working instead of frivolous ******** like 4K modes?
Bryan Ekman@bryanekman Jan 15h
good thing no work required to support 4K. Oh the joys of a UI that can work in any resolution. Comes free with your CryEngine!

And it costs no money

waste of money !
Bryan Ekman@bryanekman Jan 15h
to buy the tech? Yah, I would agree at this point. Still NVIDIA was nice enough to send it along, so we tried the game out!

I'm pretty sure he was just showing off.
Cheers.

I had quite a bit of issues visualizing UI 2.0 elements like tonnage/armor values and mc/cbills on the lower left corner of my 24" 1920x1200 monitor, during the latest UI test. And I literally missed the social mini-icon, I realized it was there, only after searching for it when I reached the test feedback poll :D

Come on PGI.... Scaling is like first thing you should be fixing on the UI 2.0....

We should be able to set scale as we want to bcuz it depends if you play it on 100''+ TV or 23-27'' monitor with that resolution.

And here I thought this was about higher resolution textures - something a lot of players can benefit from today.

Instead, it's the game on a 4k screen - something that practically none of us will use in the coming years. To boot, the UI doesn't scale and everything looks tiny to the point of being detrimental.

Seriously, the game is heavy enough at 1440p. Calling this a "sneak peak" as if it's an upcoming feature you're taunting is pretty useless.
