My job will be to protect the inner sphere from these cauldron born infidels.
Die Clan scum!

My life for the Dragon!
That said, I shall look forward to the traditional duels between true warriors .. and of course I will not complain if any Elsies or Ghost Bears would end up annihilated during a combined assault.

I do agree I play Kurita for the early alliance, not the Dark Age travesty where we Nova Cats are wiped out by them and only live on through "Clan" Spirit Cat and the Clan Protectorate.

What is the katakana "kareeraisu" in the top right corner of the sig supposed to imply ?
The infamous and feared Unknown Pilot of the DCM, AKA curry rice xD?
Well, like son, like father, eh ?

Well, "Curry"-as-a-name is apparently rather popular, with "Chicken"-as-a-name being rare but not unheard-of.
Cicen Curie [Darkmane], to use the roots of each constituent name, could actually work as a not-too-strange (and thus reducing the likelihood of ridicule in school) form of the name that also honors the agreement.
Alternatively, Cicen Kari [Darkmane] might also work (with kari being the Tamil word from which the name of the food is derived).

Still I will more than likely remain a humble servant of the dragon for the duration.
I fear most clan players will switch because clan equipment is more powerful... It was a common problem when playing table top that the players insisted on IS rules because most clan players just wanted the clans for the tech advantage and understood nothing of the ways of the clans. Further I fear that game mechanics will not permit clan players to play properly, so most clanners will just be playing as tinks. (At least I won't be hearing calls for "no heat/unlimited ammo" in the ready room<G>
If I can budget for one of the clan packages I will probably get it, just to support the game, and to have the collectables.
Sorry this turned into a bit of a rant.

in the hands of my grand children, or even possibly their children... it is only 3050... 3145 is a long way off.
(besides a lot of battletech players still refuse to acknowledge the atrocity that is the dark ages franchise as having huge gaping holes of logic even for a franchise reset...)
