This is a public service to those that thought it is "missing" in their mechlab. All Artemis equipment is now officially converted or "unconverted" as of UI 2.0.

I know there's a feedback thread there... but I think people need to look into this for themselves.

The cost for an Artemis equipped launcher is the same. The ammo however is double in cost for Artemis based ammo vs non-Artemis based ammo.

Edit:
Also, the cost of Artemis now is 250k to upgrade (125k to remove it), down from 750k/375k.

yeah bought some ASRM6 and ASRM4 yesterday, damn those got expensive :ph34r:

thanks for the info.

also pricing of the launcher itself seams to have changed (100k more than the normal version)
I will recheck all artemis related prices

Yeah. I have piles of now "non-Artemis" launchers in my garage. Had I realized this (my bad), I would've thrown a bunch onto Artemis mechs. Now I got the worst of both worlds: paid 750k/mech and have to re-pay for launchers if and when SRMs ever really work/I feel like LRMing. Blech.

Heh, I'm so glad that the only three mechs that have LRMs that I use on a regular basis don't use Artemis. That meant I didn't have to deal with this problem.

i took off my Artemus LRM20 and LRM10 literally the day before ui2.0 patch - [scruck]

Didn't PGI mentioned that this change should allow you to mix Artemis and non-Artemis launchers in the same mech?
Like putting in ALRM and regular SRM? That would be nice because I could switch a mech between ARLM setup and regular SRM setup without the need to remove the Artemis system.

HA yes I loaded up all my Artemis SRM boats with full launchers in preperation for this change! Yay foresight!

I just want to say how much I loooooooooooove spending 1.3 million cbills to rearm my Founders Catapult to a config I've used for almost 2 years. Great Artemis changes. Really superb.
