MarineMechs is currently recruiting dedicated pilots to join their ranks!

Who are the MarineMechs:
We are a unit of dedicated MWO pilots who enjoying working together, practicing, honing our skills, and having a little bit of fun. We are not marines, nor are we affiliated with any branch of armed services, and you do not have to be a marine to join (though we do have members who are veterans). Our name is intended to honor those who have served, however, and also helps to give our unit both structure and a unique identity.
What's it like, being a MarineMech:
Members of MarineMechs follow a ranking system similar to that of the armed forces. New members are assigned the rank of Private, initially, although there is ample opportunity to show your quality and rise through the ranks. Ranks are only one way of rewarding a pilot's skill, initiative, and prowess, however. MarineMech members also have the opportunity to earn a vast number of individual and unit accolades, awarded for things such as in-game achievements, honorable contributions to the unit, dedicated service, and more.
What do MarineMechs do:
The MarineMechs is a competitive unit, and our goal is to train all our members to compete in the tournament world of MWO. To achieve this, we train regularly as a unit, assigning members to light, battle, and assault lances as befits their playing style. Both 4-man lance training and 12-man drops are conducted during our training operations, as we strive to strengthen our unit as a whole. We also participate in skirmishes with other units, intra-unit skirmishes in private lobbies, and weekly "training sessions" for our members that focus on specific tactics and strategies. We maintain lobbies on both the NGNG and Comstar teamspeak servers, as well as our own private teamspeak server. Unit training currently occurs on Saturday and Tuesday nights, at 9:30PM EST, as the majority of our members are North American players.
So Who Runs MarineMechs:
MarineMechs is run not by a single player, but by an admin panel of up to 11 high ranking members of the unit. This prevents any one person from having complete control of the unit, and gives us a democratic method of solving problems and developing the unit further.
I'm a New Player Looking for a Unit:
MarineMechs welcome dedicated players who are new to Mechwarrior Online to join our unit. We are dedicated to establishing bonds with our players and training them to work together as a team. This includes players without much game experience, as we will work to help train you and establish you as a important member of MarineMechs. We do not ask that you come to us as superior players, we ask that you come to us as dedicated players willing to learn!
I'm a Veteran Player Looking for a Unit:
Of course, veteran players are welcome to join as well. All we ask is that you do not double-dip. MarineMechs wants you to be a valuable member of our unit, all we ask is that we are a valuable part of your MWO experience!
Are There Any Requirements for Joining:
There are no experience requirements, mech requirements, or anything of that nature. We only ask that you make an effort to be an active member of our unit!
Sounds Great! How do I join:
Go ahead and fill out an application at our recruitment page. You will be listed as a new recruit, and go through a recruitment process before receiving a final acceptance to the unit. The recruitment process includes a New Recruit Orientation, and an activity requirement over a two week span.
I'd Like to Learn a Little More First:
That's great too. You can check out our website (www.marinemechs.enjin.com), or you can stop by our Teamspeak server. You can connect to the server directly from our website, and view who is currently online in the server. We'd love to have you meet the unit and have a few drops with us.
Thanks for stopping by, mechwarriors! Feel free to contact myself (mdmzero0) or any other MarineMechs you may find if you have any other questions.
