They are EXACTLY THAT. It's a purchase made before the game launches in order to provide the starting funds and enough to keep those high end servers humming until the post-release cash starts flowing in.

You are not buying a founders pack for perks. You buy it to help the game. Everything being offered is a bonus (to tempt you to pay, i admit). I would have dropped money (maybe not the whole $120) even if there was NO BENEFIT ON OFFER. As would many many others. I would have paid simply to help get this off the ground.

So be happy that so many mech options, perks and financial options are available and decide what you want to contribute towards the continuation of an epic saga.

One thing that's good for the ego - if this game takes off, and gets to the million plus player level, we'll still be that core of 10-20k players that helped to get it all started again :P

Tell them to read the books:). It wont really answer their question but it might help fund more MW stuff

I honestly couldn't justify the $120 for Legendary. Sorry guys, too rich for my blood.

However, I was perfectly happy to drop $60 for Elite and go from there.

Hunchback HO!

So do we get any shares in the enterprise? That would be nice :-)

Yep, and that share is expressed as a 25% c-bill bonus - didn't you read the fineprint :(

$120 is more than I want to spend on any game to be honest, but I am happy to help get the first proper MW game in a decade off the ground. Bargained well and done.

If you can afford to buy any of the packs, and you're a fan of the series, go for it.

If you can't afford to buy any of the packs, that's unfortunate.

If you don't want to buy any of the packs, don't buy any, but please don't make threads about it.

Due to budgetary concerns, I was only able to commit to the Elite pack. But still, I pay 60 bucks but they'll give me $80 in in-game currency. Plus, they'll throw in a shiny founder's mech (Atlas all the way baby!) with a permanent C-Bill generation bonus and a premium account for two months! Combine the value of those items with my love for the BT/MW, the Elite package is practically a steal!
