Well, I have a ATI HD5650 and an I3 processor, which is actually a mid/low range computer that's also 2 years old. But it still falls within the minimum requirement, for that I'm glad.

I anticipate that my gameplay initially would be slightly on the sluggish side, but I am planning to upgrade my PC this year.

I'm not entirely sure why they put "5600/5770" As the minimal AMD spec seeing as how there are alot of other video cards AMD Video cards that are faster then the 8800GT.

Because they're supposed to be equivalent cards, not better cards. They're saying "An 8800GT will run it, if you've got a Radeon this is the equivalent".

Looking like Mobile users are going to want a Nvidia 260M/360M or higher, and AMD side a 4870M or higher for playable rates.

Looks like the game will probably require more than my slightly dated core 2 duo laptop can handle unfortunately. I was really looking forward to playing MWO.

I doubt it. They did mention they plan on doing alot of optimizations for the C2D CPU's. So I would imagine as long as you have decent C2D mobile CPU it'll be fine. Its going to depend alot on what mobile GPU that laptop is carrying as well though.

probably because they haven't really tested on low end machines, especially since they put 4gb memory with 32 bit operating system.

which is fine honestly, they're still in closed beta and have a very narrow range of data available. I'm adamant we'll know how accurate these specs are once open beta hits

Any one know if I'll be able to easily use a game pad like an Xbox controller or will it just be keyboard and mouse?

Anyone know if it can run (ie at least 20 fps), on a 2010 mac book pro? i7 and geforce 330m. Looking at one benchmark site, i don't think so.....but actual game experience would be more a much stronger data point :)

Hmmm. Would a 6630 quad core i5 @ 2.3 with 4 gigs of ram do decently enough at 1600x900?

(And sorry for posting this everywhere it comes up, but more opinions the better before I potentially waste 60 bucks)

It's 2 generations ahead, but 2 power levels below... 3Dmark values show no... Man, I wish I could just benchmark the damn thing and see if it runs.

damn.... Same prob here. AMD dual core 2.45 ghz processor, and when I try to start it I get an error message of an unsupported video card. Can't upgrade a laptop too easily. Any way to get around this, or could you list supported video cards? Thanks.
