Rats, I only have 15 million C-bills. I can't buy fresh XLs for each of them...

Finally!!! My favorite 'Mech in the BattleTech universe. I've heard all sorts of mixed reviews of this 'Mech, I suppose the normal community split about who can drive what, and who can't.

I've been grinding mine for about a couple of weeks. The 6R and 7K perform fairly well as SRM platforms, somewhere between Hunchback 4SP and Centurions plus jumpjets. The 6K has no jumpjets, but the bundle of energy weapons on its arm plus a large XL engine make for a good flanker.

It's not as exciting as a Shadowhawk or ballistic platform, but it's fast and can be an annoying little sucker.

I don't play Shadowhawk's because they have a very unsatisfactory twist range, and I like to use as much 3D space as possible. I'm not going to like to go without Jump Jets, but I'll make it happen, anyway... maybe I'll just go with the 6R and 7K, and sub another Medium in for the 6K.

I like it more than my shadows.. for some reason the shadows feel stiff. Sure I do pretty good damage but there is something about the compact, fast, relatively tough Wolverine that I really like.

The 6R is my favorite mech, I have played it more than any of my other Phoenix mechs.

Though I love every single one of my Wolverines, I double that. The 6R is really awesome (note: not Awesome, just awesome!). Those Wolverines are fast, have an amazing torso twist speed and jaw. Can be extremly effective light hunters and harassers and can take on prey of every weight class. I like them more than the Shawks, cos they feel more nimble. But you should really protect that right arm.

Finally got my hands on the Wolverine last night... the thing spreads damage like a boss. 6R is a brilliant machine.

The mixed reviews can hang!!! This has been my favorite 'Mech on the tabletop, and it remains my favorite 'Mech for the whole universe. It's been, in the past, that I would try to change up and drive one of my other 'Mechs, and almost always get chased back to my Catapult... last night, I went out driving my Cat, and got chased back to my "Logan"!!!

PGI, you did it right! Thank you.

Not a ton of games yet(15) but I have a KD ratio of 6.50(26 kills 4 deaths) in the 6K. From the reviews I thought this would be the worst version. Go figure
