So I take the tick out of 2 of the boxes and leave one ticked, but I have to do this every time I start a match, is this not meant to save?

They aren't meant to save after you choose. Each time you launch you need to specify your selection.
Just another UI2.0 element done wrong. It adds another look+click through step before every match for no benefit to the player.

+1 on this. Saving the selected game mode(s) is what I would expect as standard behaviour..

This is how you waste resources: Do something half-assed, spend X times more to fix it over time.

I'm so used to the 3 click start sequence I need a cancel search button, because I automatically click skirmish only and then start even if I want a random game.

UI 1.5 saved game modes, another step backwards for UI 2.0

After a doublecheck, I see the feature is intended to save your choice, so this should be coming.
Even if it saves the selection (which is good), the extra window shouldn't pop up every time - let the user open the window separately when they want to change their settings, and otherwise reduce launching a match to a single click, please.

After getting user feedback this may be re-thought, just stating how it currently works.
It severly needs to be, its very anyoing to have to change it every time. that should be rather obvious to anyone who has ever used a computer.

hi, can we please have some quality of life ingame? i mean is it much to ask for it to stick? most people tend to play one mode only, if it where otherwise woulnt it be logical to leave it sticked to the all options selected?
Please bring this to consideration, give quality of life to you playerbase, everytime you have to untick the modes is tedius, unlogical, and boring, thank you.

If you'd read further you'd have seen that it is a bug and that it's going to get fixed.
