1,100,000 @ 800 = 1375 cb/mc =
2,400,000 @ 1600 = 1500 cb/mc = OR IF 30% off 2,400,000 @ 1120 = 2142 cb/mc
6,500,000 @ 4000 = 1625 cb/mc = OR IF 30% off 6,500,000 @ 2800 = 2321 cb/mc
Champions - CBill Sell value @ MC cost
SDR-5K(C) - 2636258 @ 1235 = 2134 cb/mc -BEST!
JR7-F(C) - 3067911 @ 1450 = 2115 cb/mc -BEST!
CDA-2A(C) - 3551523 @ 1600 = 2219 cb/mc -BEST! <---- TOP DEAL
BJ-1(C) - 3016837 @ 1695 = 1779 cb/mc - Better!
HBK-4P(C) - 1981946 @ 1800 = 1101 cb/mc
CN9-A(C) - 2075946 @ 1850 = 1122 cb/mc
DRG-5N(C) - 4066139 @ 2550 = 1594 cb/mc
CPLT-A1(C) - 2757257 @ 2790 = 988 cb/mc ------- OUCH!
CTF-3D(C) - 3115394 @ 4945 = 630 cb/mc ------- OUCH x2! <---- WORST
VTR-9S(C) - 5522115 @ 3725 = 1482 cb/mc
STK-3F(C) - 5822239 @ 3815 = 1526 cb/mc
HGN-733C(C)- 4367794 @ 4335 = 1007 cb/mc
AS7-RS(C) - 4983988 @ 4685 = 1063 cb/mc
Conclusion:
Purchasing a CDA-2A(C) for MC and selling it for c-bills is the most cost effective thing and significantly more cost effective than purchasing c-bills directly from the store in the "bundles".
I did more cost breakdowns with hero mechs and normal mechs. All normal mechs not on sale are between 1239 cb/mc and 1250 cb/mc. The variance is because PGI seems to ROUND to the nearest 5 after calculating the value.

Negative. I purchased and sold all of these mechs today. The prices listed are the actual selling prices in c-bills. Unless I made a typo, those are the exact values.

Its nice to see I'm not the only one who could solo field a battalion

Math is sound and in line with what I've calculated myself. I am in agreeance.

Disposable income. Plus I love shiny things! And... Mechs blowing each other up is awesome!
I don't advocate this.. (at all) but I suspect you're going to receive a lot of friendly fire if you get in the match with a Golden Timberwolf...
I don't think I've spent that amount on the game (if I have, it's just barely), let alone on a paint-scheme.

Negative. When you actually click the "sell" button, it gives you options. When you sell the entire mech and equipment that comes with the STOCK Cicada champion, it sells for what I posted that it sells for. 3551523 cbills - which means... as I've indicated in my above post, for those of you slow to catch up... that when you SPEND 1600mc on a Cicada champion, you get to SELL it and all the equipment you just purchased for 1600mc for a total of 3551523cbills which means you traded mc for cbills at a rate of... wait for it... wait for it...
2219 cb/mc
Which is more efficient than the cbill bundles. Do the math mate. Or don't. I tested it all today by purchasing each champion, some heroes, and figuring it all out for you. Which is why I saved you the dollars and MC by posting my findings here.

Hero mechs are 75mc per ton. Regardless of the cbill value of their equipment. I haven't tested all of them yet, but so far it doesn't seem like they come anywhere close to 2200 cb/mc even when they are on sale for 50% off.
See this post for a more complete breakdown.

Also... and I'm surprised I just noticed this... but why are you asking about the CN9-9A(C)? I am talking about the CDA-2A(C). You know... the Cicada. Which I said here:
"CDA-2A(C) - 3551523 @ 1600 = 2219 cb/mc -BEST! <---- TOP DEAL"
Here is a screenshot to help you out.
