I want a feature that doesnt cause my weapon groups on 27 different mechs, especially ones that violate the arbitrary heat generation rules, to reset all their weapon groups for no particular reason.

Amen to that. It gets kind of old really fast, and I shudder to think of how it's like for the people with dozens of 'Mechs in each weight class (or a similar number of 'Mechs in any combination of the classes depending on one's preferences) because that's a LOT of weapon groups to have to reset every patch...

I could almost deal with it happening every patch, but I'm getting issues now where my weapon groups are reset every time I change mechs.

I havent noticed that yet, i hope i never get that feature. I see my post was moved from feature suggestion to patch feedback, but this hasnt just been this patch its been several. I actually want as a feature to be able to keep my weapon groups. I guess since there was a negative connotation to my post they had to bury it even further into the forums.

This has happened to me too, but I'm not sure what is triggering the weapon group reset (though I haven't been playing much since LRMageddon.)

Yeah, for the last 3 days every time I've logged in my weapon groupings have been reset. Not cool PGI
