The Martial Olympiad was a series of mock combats held every four years from 2640 to 2736. The event was designed to test fighting skills and recognize the best units within the SLDF.
Precautions were made to prevent the loss of life, although deaths did occur, and while it was expensive to maintain, the Olympiad was popular among troops as a way to display their skills and the public as a media event.

We realized that not a single league was holding a competition with our great community to make the world a little better. We wanted to be the first and are holding an arena style tournament to test the skills of pilots in a small setting and raise money for charity at the same time. It to be a foundation or charity that everyone could support no matter where you are in the world. Many of our staff are parents and so naturally our concerns focus more on our children
All teams will sign up on the Mercenary Star website HERE.
All you have to do is open the forum with the bracket(s) you want to enter and put in the requested information.
All signups must be done on the Mercenary Star website. Signups anywhere else will not be counted!
In addition a $2 USD optional cover fee will be requested per pilot, per bracket entered to contribute to the charity.
This means a 4v4 team would donate $8, and if you are also in the 1v1 you would donate an additional $2.

We look forward to hosting this event for you and look forward to seeing you in the tournament.
Sincerly,
Vercinix & the Mercenary Star Staff
