How Do You Reset Game Video Settings Without Starting The Game Up?

Hi there, before I even played the game I set the video to dx11.
Now it crashes when I open it and cannot do anything.
I just need to reset to default settings, I also cant find an .ini file that would help me?
Any one have any ideas???

Off the top of my head, I'd say deleting the entire /user subfolder would to the trick. Thart is the blunt instrument approach, there is actually a single file but since I'm at work I can't confirm which file stores that setting.

There's a cfg file that has that setting, probably system.cfg or something, should be in your MWO install directory. You'll probably see it have dx11 or version 11 mentioned just change that to 9.

Cool got it going now, just deleted some small files in the main install folder and it was back to default.

Yeah, all those things are just stored as text files, removing them just sets it all to factory default
