I'm thinking when the XML code changes were implemented, the website was still using the old fetch codes, and just pulled a blank on mechname. It could still identify the mech, but couldn't put the names up. Or it's using the cashed stats, and can't get new updates until the issue is resolved.

That's the one thing I hate and love about programming. You sometimes change a 2 to a 3 in one part, but somehow a faucet starts leaking in accounting, the electricity goes out for only the one third of the building that's next door, and all the ceiling fans are spinning in reverse. While you're left wondering why that small change to the part in charge of displaying the clock, did all this damage.

Because the developer failed to decouple the design properly usually.

Always remember:

1. Assume anyone using your code is an idiot
2. Assume anyone maintaining your code is an idiot
3. Assume that in 3 weeks, YOU will be that idiot

That's very similar to the mantra we lived by when studying coding and software development.

In related news: mech pictures won't load on the Profile page:

https://mwomercs.com/profile

It must be related, since the page the images are taken from is loading correctly:

Hmm, I'm fairly certain that yesterday, even though the 'Mech stats page was broken as it is now, the pictures were loading correctly.

LOL, now I have pics of 4 hunchies"!"

I have NEVER owned a hunchback.

Names are right though, and I have to admit... ThunderBONG fits the hunchy better.

Thanx ;}
