Calling all Ghost Bears! lets see some screen shots of your best games, and give us the loadout you used. Lets get the word out to our Sibko, so we can all make the grind a bit easier with some battle tested configurations. Make the IS scum pay for makng us use their mechs for 2 years.

Basically Im using the Energy side torso's for the 20% increased movement speed, thought PPCs looked cool there and went with it. If you can see your target it means you can hit it (kinda like a jaeger) except more of your mech sticks up above your cockpit. Strike at range while you can and when it gets close or to hot utilize the SRMs for the kill.
As a side note, the Storm Crow is crazy tough i finished that game at 27% with red on every torso and 1 arm gone.

Standard Timber Wolf Prime, spec'd out the same I had my character Gerhardt Jorgensson from a MechWarrior 3rd Edition pen and paper game had his Timber Wolf set up; twin ER PPC's over ER medium lasers in the arms with an LRM-15 on each shoulder.

Could you give me the build? I thought it would be very hot with LRM15s and less DHSs..

Build pic added; it is very simple and straight forward. I have group 1 and 2 set up on my left/right mouse buttons as the left and right arm ER PPC's, with mouse button 3 reserved for the LRM packs together and group 4 is both medium lasers. Group 5/6 are the LRM's and lasers in chain fire mode in case I need to fire while cooling down.

Great info! Seems highly effective, this will certainly help in the conquest for terra!

Stock Summoner D. One of the best stocks I have seen so far.

Please do not judge me for killing 3 of our brethren. I was the last to die, having taken out 3 timberwolfs in a row... :)

At the end it was down to the wire. Had I not received such ff or our last few mechs hustled on the same spot, we could have availed. How a Kintaro overpowered us in our final moments is beyond words. The shame..

I started with the stock Stormcrow Prime and got 750 damage on my very first match; I later dropped 3 heatsinks and changed the head ERML to an ERLL for added long-range pleasure... I think I'll try a just-in-case triple SRM4 in lieu of the head ERLL...

I really like that the Stormcrow weapon positions and cockpit are vertically aligned. And that ERLL in the cockpit, that is just... I agree this little bird is quite tough with shoot-me-up-XL-engine-technology...

More Alpine Peaks please

^^Ooooo that is one smexy War Hawk.
One suggestion I would make on that build is to use the variant that has the missle slot in the CT that way your SRMs will be better grouped, and if that arm gets blown off you have more weapons left.

2 CLBX-5, 2 CUAC/20, a **** ton of ammo. You can do near constant fire if you fire a UAC, fire your 2 LBX, then fire another UAC. So, chain fire UACs and group fire LBX. It's good if everything's out in front of you.

Good build Battlegoat, how effective are you finding those 2 machineguns? The reason I ask is because Ive never found a use for 2 MGs on a heavy mech and it seems nearly useless. Have they come in handy? I personally would upgrade to 2 AMS with 2 tons of ammo on that build for the exact same tonnage, seems like a good trade off to me. Sub par weapons for above average protection = good choice.

I have 2 MGs on 2 of my Timberwolf configurations and i find them useful enough against unarmored locations. Besides, i love their sound, and it is good to have something i can fire when my 'Mech is running too hot :)

I have 3 on my TWolf, and even though they do not seem to actually do much damage, the amazing sound of their dakka is both intimidating to the enemy and inspirational to me, so it is well worth the weight!
