At least hide those trial mechs we already own!

NO MORE TRIAL MECHS IN MY OWNED MECHS MECH BAY!
Or if you want to leave it there, don't mingle it with my mechs. Place then at the top like they were before.

In fact, instead of having an Owned / Purchaseable drop down list, have 3 main buttons: Trial, Owned, and Purchaseable. Then, have 6 buttons representing the 4 weight classes + Champion and Hero mechs.
Finally, the drop down list can then be used to sort alphabetically or by tonnage (with ascending and descending options).
Buttons: Owned - Trial - Purchaseable
Drop down list: Sort either alphabetically or by tonnage
Light
Medium
Heavy
Assault
Champion
Hero

Instead of having to scroll down to my mechs they are now mixed in with the trial mechs?

Once you are a proven contributor to the game, there should be a bonus given to filter out these abominations!
Common sense!
Think of it from the marketer's perspective though. You already spent $150, you have shown that you are willing to pay them so why would they NOT want to keep their advertizing in your face at every opportunity?

Suggestion PGI:
Under the Setting Button were you can go set "start in 3d person" or "Arm Lock" put a Check Box (Default is checked and on just like 3rd Person & Arm Lock) "Show Trial Mechs under Owned"

That was my point. If it can be hidden, it will never be bought. They could put Atlas Shoes on there that would decrease speed by 50% and render all weapons useless and people would buy it. This isn't a battle that is worth fighting.
