Every time I fire the clan ac5 it shoots 3 shell's not one. Don't know if this is right or not. If it is right does that mean the damage is 15 (5 for each shell)? It just says' damage 5 in the description.

no, the damage is split up in multiple shells for all AC Weapons

Each of those three shells in the burst does 1.67 damage.
All the clan ACs and UACs work like this (not the C-LBXs, though)
The C-AC20 for example fires 5 rounds per burst, each round doing 4 damage.
