I got this new projector that allows viewing of 3D content, but also it gives the alternate option of displaying a 120hz refresh instead. I played with the options, but it looks like I'm stuck at 60hz. Anyone know of a workaround or if this is something in the pipeline?

Thanks flapdrol, but does that utility force games to run @ 120hz, or is that for just getting the screen in 120hz in general? Just making sure, since I have already connected my projector and its displaying at 120hz, which stuff like Borderlands 2 plays with very nicely, but Mechwarrior Online seems to be stubborn.

It overrides the edid file, if you throw out the 60hz resolution the game will probably use the 120hz one.

I use the tool to run my sceen at 140hz with mechwarrior online.

It worked! Thanks man! My 120hz is slight notch below your 140hz, but nonetheless it looks beautiful :)

You need some serious hardware to run MWO at a steady 120Hz at any reasonably high resolution.

constant 120 fps is impossible with mwo, but a high refresh screen will still help with latency and smoothness at lower fps.

I have a 144hz and the fps is at 124-129 when looking at paint dry, when lrms and ac start to hit heavily i go in the 69 range.

I used to run the lightboost to emulate cathodic monitor but mwo stop making it work a long time ago i dont know why. But the brightness was half and to be honest its no big loss.

"pain dry" lol My borderland Psycho char is gettin inside my head.
