That would be the better forum. You could just request the mods move your thread there. It will get a better chance of landing new recruits there.

Indeed! Please note that Clans are a specific term for the Mechwarrior universe. Clans are factions within this game, that will not be player controlled. What you are intending to do is what we call a unit. A group of players/character that act together as a part of a faction or as merceneries for them. You might want to take a look at http://sarna.net for more informations on the various factions.

Once you have decided in which faction your unit belongs, or if you want to go down the road of being hired guns, you should create a new thread, with a more telling title, in the fitting recruitment forum, for either houses, clans or mercenearies.

Edit: I see you already created a recruitment thread in the mercenaries sub forum, prior to creating this thread. Please note, that we do not like crossposting over several forums.
