Are Clans Sufficiently Op?

And what will PGI do if that happens? I cant see people being happy if the IS wins the planet but since its meant that the clans win it its given to the clans anyways.
I get that we can change the storyline but what happens if there is never an invasion at all? That would seriously change the story, where whole mech lines would never be made because the threat of the clans never developed.

its one or the other....
As far as the IS stopping us dead in our tracks i had no EVEN thought about that.....PGI hopefully did before they nerfed us into oblivion. We will see how it plays out. At this point without increased numbers (on IS side) its kinda any mans game in my eyes.

The nova still eludes me as well....hard mech to do well in.
Summoner is decent LRM platform and has very high Ballistic mounts. Has some OK builds...defiantly under the bar though. Still nothing is as bad as the Adder.
I have found 1 decent build....Gauss Adder!

Can it fit one? It would be the only weapon you had lol....I run one with a U-A/C 10, 2 MG's and 4 Sm Lasers. Its a good knife fighter and backstabber but that about it.

Gauss Adder... LOL! I am going to have to try this now that I finally mastered all 3 KitFoxes.

1x Gauss (R arm)
2x Sm Laser (L & R torso, ADR-A Omni)
1x Er med (L Arm)
And as much ammo as you can get into it 2 tons go right in. I moved some armor around to get 2.5 tons of Gauss ammo.

Running ACs on the Nova is just gimping yourself, its an energy boat an there's some nasty loadouts that can be put on it.
The Summoner is actually a decent and rather versatile mech, although the SC and TW out perform it at everything, but hey they outperform everything in the game so.....

Which has absolutely nothing to do with how powerful either side is, it only shows that one side performed better. Ignoring things like coordination, player skill and tactics even a 1% difference in power would be more than enough for one side to win 100% of the time.

Not to mention the majority of Trial mechs are IS still and very few Clan mechs can be purchased for C-Bills meaning that newer plays are weighted more towards IS.
