I think IS UAC5 nerf will come shortly after King Crab release. I'd rather not have 4 ballistic hardpoint variant then.

They jam quiet a bit, quad AC/5 will be popular and already seen on a CTF-4X. The ability to mount 2 AC/20 will allow the devs to give it 4x UAC/5 ability and it's needed IMO to combat Clanners.

I don't think it will cause them to nerf the IS UAC5 at all. Look at the Jager-S and Ilya which can both run triple UAC5 setup fairly well (Jager being a little more squishy/ ammo limited than the phract). I have run that setup on both with good results and really like them but it cannot compete with comparative Clan weapons range/ DPS. Their range/ DPS advantage is balanced by IS auto cannon ability to put full dmg on them accurately (as long as you can hit them of course).

Same with 4 UAC5 in a 100 ton King Crab compared to the common 5-6 Clan UAC5 Dire builds. All things considered it would be a pretty good match up and fairly well balanced, as long as the hitboxes are decent on the KGC.

Quad IS ac5 with cooldown module is pretty fun.

They have the same 15% jam they had during the DakkaGeddon, though at a 1.67 cooldown instead of 1.1.
