Anyone with a GTX 680 2gb card out there..??

If so, please relate your MWO experience using this card.
ALSO: please list your PC system specs..

I have an opportunity to grab one at a very good price 60 bucks, and I was wondering how it was with MWO and what people are getting for Frames and what not (depending on their specs).

My Signature Plus was fine, 'till it fried itself.

The GTX 770 is the same part, only with some extra P-states.

Each level of Shading is about 10 percentage points of GPU Core Load. I forget what the AO levels worked out to, but I've given up on that subsystem.

I'd do it, at that price.

I've been running one for a while now and it runs everything maxed at 45~60 FPS. Real happy with it.

Specs:
Intel i7 3820 @ 3.6GHz
16 GB DDR3 Ram
nVidia GTX 680 2GB
2 TB HDD
SB Recon3D PCIe sound card

Not quite the same but I had a 670 4gb and that ran 3x1080p monitors alongside a 2500k at 35+FPS .

A single 680 alongside a decent chip should be a great buy for 60$

Yeah much better then Ebay... The seller is a friend, he's basically just dumping it for an upgrade to a 970 or 980, he hasn't made his mind up yet. I can pick it up next week after his new card shows up.

I know it will run everything really well, I was wondering how MWO runs it on different Systems.

I was hoping to see how it ran on any of the FX-series chips and the older Thubans in MWO.

EDIT: One of my other friends has two rigs, one with a 2011 socket and a EVGA GTX 680 classified on water, and he does really well, and also a 1150 socket system with a waterblocked EVGA GTX 780 ti..

If you're buying the Chinese "2G GTX680 2048MB 384bit DDR3 PCI-E NVIDIA" I just say...make sure it's not a scam first.

edit: oh, personal buy. Nice deal.

these guys here look suspicious

What even the hell

That is not a Geforce GTX 680. The PCB length is entirely incorrect, and I have never seen an Nvidia PCB, let alone a 680 PCB that color of red. I literally think that seller took a bunch of old Radeon boards, maybe 3650s or something, and threw "Nvidia" coolers on that were made in some overseas person's garage

I paid double that for a 670 a few weeks ago and that's still a great deal, $60 for a 680 is a nobrainer.

I'm running a gtx 680 with a crappy old first gen i7, with solid 60 FPS.

Deal is a no-brainer, IMHO.

Definitely a fantastic deal, was just wondering how it ran MWO..
Was hoping for AMD CPU users to chime in with specs, but not a huge issue.

Should have it by next week around Thursday.
