The Champion in MW3.

It looked ugly, it performed ugly, reminded me of someone putting a jet on some funny looking legs.

So ill-appropriately named.

I'm challenging myself to find a way to make it look cool, now. Might be in vain, but you never know...
The saddest for me is everything Project Phoenix ended up with (a tiny exception or two, but overall depressing to see).
The vast majority of the unseen mechs were really cool, but the redesigns were very badly-pulled off. The overall aesthetic that they agreed upon was just awful.

If anything, it's not a i hate to fight, it's more a mech i absoultely refuse to take unless it between that and walking is the Urban Mech.

not even the IIC clan verison does anything for me. If i pilot 1, i feel like i'm an oversized elmental without the firepower. I'd take a Flea or even a Spider over an urban mech!

Bah, I was really rather fond of the Champion. Then again, I also like the Annihilator, so that might say more about me than it does about the mechs...

Seeing all these ugly retro-futuristic 'mechs designed by random, generic sci-fi cover artists makes me so happy that somebody like Alex Iglesias is redesigning many of the them. Not only is his resume pretty legit, having graduated from Ringling, but he has a really incredible interpretation of the Battletech world visually. He has taken what most people loved about what Battletech has been, and brought them out.
