Weekend challenge seems to involve a Victor.
What do you think is the requirement (win, achieve a certain scoring level, or something completely arbitrary, probably involving a Victor)?
What do you think is the prize? A Victor Champion reward, or some sort of free camo/color bonus?
Discuss.

It's also possible it just refers to the same old boring "get x victories" challenge.
not going to bother if it involves Victors, since I never bought any and spent all my hoarded cbills on buying a bunch of quirked IS mechs.

It looks like it will involve a victor; the S is a Champ.

Could be the reward. 20 points should be pretty easy.

I need that one to go with my 9B, then I can elite them next time the Dragon Slayer goes on sale.

Russ DID state on twitter that the rewards for this challenge were going to be "different"
They did this kind of event before, get enough victories [a reasonable amount, not an insane amount, like 10 or 20 or something] and they give you a mech, first with a Champion Cent-A and then one of the Thunderbolts [I think it was a "new" variant they added in a patch after the initial 3 variants were already released]

IIRC you just had to log in and play to get those or have logged in since "xx date. This would be the first "contest" to actively win a mech though

So what is the 20 pointer? An angry bug eye pattern?

I dunno, I think the Cent one was a challenge because I wasn't around for it and forever have the red X of shame next to "Centurion Champion Personal Challenge"
e: The TDR one is counted as a challenge too.

Judging by the title, it's probably got to do with getting Wins (i.e. to the victor go the spoils, or, in this case, to the victor go the Victors).

Judging by the icons it'll only be 1 point to get 3 days premium time, so there's that.

Yeah, they were both Challenges. You had to get 5 wins for both of 'em.

Only 5 wins for the Cent and Thunderbolt.

So guessing the Victor one will be 20 wins then, bets on solo only or solo and group queue?
e: Hmm, assuming it is the [C] Victor, the stock loadout isn't great, but it does come with the essential "optional sidegrades" of endo and DHS pre-installed, and a big XL engine, so it'd be fun to play around with at least.

But the picture is of a Victor.
Whether Pun or reward, we don't know.
It's the reward.
The source: check the icons of all the other challenges, the icon always represented the price you'd get for completion, for all 26 challenges we had so far.
On the other hand I wouldn't get my hopes up too soon, considering that you need "only" one point for three days of premium. Considering the amount of work you had to put forth to get something as simple as a single mech bay, getting 20 points might not be as easy in the end. Sure hope though that the points are easy to earn, free assault mechs are always welcome.
And I sure as hell hope that you earn points by getting kills, assists and wins, "get x number of wins" missions suck balls really hard as soon as you are on an unlucky loss-streak... and hope that those win only missions will never pop up again

Well, except for the Champ, which doesn't have much of a purpose anyways unless I really wanted to grind GXP.

i was hovering over the mastery bundle for victors. can't decide if thats still a good idea or not...still probably the cheapest way to get DS+ 30 days prem, and 3 mechbays.
