Heroic Battles Of The Frr

On the Sulfuric badlands of Leoben a final rag-tag band of mixed drops FRR units and mercs make a heroic stand. Forced to attack the Ghost Bear Base, tenacity, ferocity and dedication won out against superior clan tech.
With men already dead for good, we gathered up our last remaining units and made a last ditch push at their base. While many died, we managed to take their base down with a single second remaining.

I would like to remind you that the Riksdag you are trying to establish has not yet come to any decission regarding our stance in CW. It diminishes its if you refer to a unaccepted proposal in the open forums.
If we want to establish a strong Riksdag we not only need to respect its decissions, but also respect when he did not come to a decission yet.

One match at a time the units of the FRR are learning to work together to smite their foes.

Chips are down, we dont squabble like the 'Great Houses'. We do something about it.
We are the target of the invading barbarians. WE need to set the tone for the rest of the Inner Sphere and show them how its done.
Out manned. Out gunned. Never outdone. Free Beer in Valhalla!!!

I would have thought anyone who signed up for FRR were prepared to go down like men and fight until the bitter end. Not rely on weak game mechanics to get their way. We all knew what would happen with FRR. PGI has designed the galaxy map and the CW mechanics to ensure that the game will proceed more or less like Battletech lore. Which means we're in for a beating.
In the future, whenever I drop with a team who's looking to spawn camp in order to delay invaders, you best believe I will be doing my utmost to open the flood gates and let the bears attack my team. Grown men, camping behind the enemy gates for 30 minutes to make sure the timer runs out. Absolutely ridiculous.

Its about doing everything you can to win, thats what fighting for survival is about, and thats why I chose the FRR.
If I should see you opening the gate to the attacker in a defense I command, just because you dont like my tactics. I will have my headshot specialist take out your cockpit every time you redrop.
When I am droping on a planet, either to attack or defend, I am in it to win. And if I have to get unfair to do that, then getting unfair is what I´m going to do. With that attitude of yours you probably would be better of with liao, seeking your honorable death.
If there is one thing I can not stand its openly talking about treason against your team and making it sound like you where the good guy in the discussion.

And thereby breaking the rules and getting yourself banned from the game. Be my guest, Klappy.

It's a computer game, dude. I'm looking for good games and I don't mind being the underdog. I don't mind losing against the Clans. I'm here for a good game. If my team tries to camp for 30 minutes, I'll have no part in it. I'll open the gates and let the attackers come out. If you don't like it, send an email to support explaining how I'm breaking the rules by attacking the Orbital cannon when you want me to camp.

I have no time for your judgement of who's good and who's bad. I'm here to play a game. If you want to avoid playing the game in order to get an extra dot on the galaxy map, that's your choice. I'm not participating in your childish strategies. I'm here to play. I'd rather lose a fun game than spawn camp for 30 minutes.

Just saying, if you betray your team I really don´t give a **** if you report me. And if I had the Lordz on the other side, I´d probably do everything I could to keep them busy for the whole 30 minutes, and I would hate every goddamn second of it. CW is not about having a bit of casual fun, its about getting that goddamn planet for your faction, or keeping it for that matter.
Plus if a team just lets the attacker do that to them they probably deserve it, I have like 5 ideas what to do against is just from the top of my head.

Your absolutely right its not forbidden. But if I command a drop and you are actively trying to undermine the tactic I chose, I will try to prevent you from doing that again. Its nothing personal, its just the way it is.
Alistair Winter, on 18 December 2014 - 08:32 PM, said:
And thats where the difference between us two is. I too have no problem with losing a game. But I have a problem with not doing everything in my power to not loose.
And if you don´t like it, you always can disconnect.
By the way, camping behind the gates is probably the only thing we talked about here that is not forbidden by the COC. The fact is, while you where talking about betraying your team in your first post, you where trying to come of as the guys that does the right thing and I happen to disagree.
I can´t stop you doing what you want do do, but I can try. If I see the need to do so.

Its not from CW but I got the most embarrassing 3 kills I ever made. ^^
I never really made it to the fight, they where basically done as I arrived. ^^
And that discussion is not fighting for me, thats how we respectfully deal with each other where I come from. (Seriously, we are a gravely impolite bunch here in the ruhr area, we´re kind of famous for that)

Nope. I'm not letting others ruin this game, if I can fight it.

The only thing that was talked about here that is forbidden, is you ordering your team to kill any teammate who doesn't follow your plan.
EDIT: And as 101011 said, you can make a case for camping being a violation as well.

...To all players posting screen shots, whether it'd be to honor a fight or otherwise, remember the "name and shame" rule. Might be best to blur out names of enemies, allies you cannot vouch for, or dissenters in the screenshot as a precautionary measure.
