The 21st Arcturan Guard is a shadow op unit that acts when diplomacy fails. We operate in the shadows and fight dirty. The 21st's mission is to assume the identity of neighboring factions and attack Steiner's enemies. We are a deniable asset of house Steiner, as such if captured Katrina Steiner will deny any acknowledgement of our existence.
How our operations work:
we appear as a merc unit taking contracts that are in the best interests of House Steiner. In our many successful missions we have salvaged clan/is mechs and weapons which we use to our advantage. When a contract is taken our mechs are painted in the same manner as the faction who issued the contract. We hit hard and fast using tactics unfavorable and often dishonorable on the battlefield (often calling zellbrigen only to swarm the unsuspecting challenger). Full assault teams or "steiner scout lances" are not uncommon for this unit.
About the unit:
We have unique hierarchy in our team. Our CO is the only pilot willing to take the job - not because it's dangerous, but because most of us are content with just fighting and could care less about the glory. He also has the best access to inner sphere porn. We are a relaxed group of skilled pilots. We spend our spare time harassing the weak forces on the outer rim planets. When a job comes, we get down to business.
At the moment we are taking pilot applications. A test period is required for new pilots before they are fully inducted into the unit. This is to make sure you can handle the grit of the other members and that you aren't squeamish at the sight of midget porn and dragon ****'s. If our unit sounds like something you can handle, then PM me and we will begin the application process.
