One of my shotgun builds I use sometimes during regular matches and sometimes during CW when possible:

This one is an all time favorite, used to run this all the time before Clan mechs ever were on sale for MC :

A troll build against those pesky King Crabs and Dire Wolfs that Run Ultras :

What is your opinion of these Shotgun Dire Builds?

<.<; 6 LB-5X.
:D (None of your builds are using it, but it is awesome nonetheless.) Twin 10s and 4 5s is also a good mix. I think your mechs have maybe two big fears (beyond LRMs). MGs and other LBXs. (That ammo looks like it'd make a great area of effect explosion if that was in MWO).

I had much fun with this build: 2x LB-20's and 2x LB-5's

Probably something like this? Makes me picture a clown standing around a corner waiting to throw a bakery product into your face, the DWF Boo cake

I've had some pretty good success with this: 2xUAC5, 2xLB5X, 4xMPL Direwolf

The LBs combine with the UACs pretty well. They have the same travel speed, so the LB pellets hit at the same time as the first UAC5 slug if you fire them together, making it easier to Lead a moving target and hit it with both guns. If the UAC(s) jam, you can fall back on the LBs. It avoids Ghost Heat pretty well, as the UAC5 and LB5X are not linked, and the LBs will score a lot of crits once your Lasers and UACs rip open their Armor.

You can (and I have) run it with 6 ERML instead of 4MPL, but it's a little bit too hot for my taste. The extra damage at range is pretty nice, though.

This is a fun and effective build (or it was, at one point. Haven't played with DW's for a while...)

This is a hilariously fun build, especially if the enemy is cored anywhere.
