What is goofy is that someone trying to draw Steiner units off the Clan front would have been more useful overall actually fighting against the Steiner unit on the Clan border. There's no new front opening, no threat to the Steiner/Davion alliance. It was just sort of a bad idea. Same amount of time, just wasted on turret drops. That same time spent in actual Steiner vs Clan matches would have been more overall productive.

What I find funny is the people showing up trying to prod for some sort of emotional response. The forum drama was more effort than the actual in game consequence and at best the forum drama was people going 'Huh? Oh, some FF guys. Whatever. Meh.'

We could always make alts and pug in the CSJ queue and sandbag like mad, but what a goofy waste of time. End of the day actually playing directly against faction opponents is a more useful expenditure of time. Then again CW is, in a lot of ways, all about watching people make bad tactical decisions.

How about we just let Skye take the planet back? Shouldn't take them too long, and they can probably do some of the drops during the non-peak hours, to minimize the number of defenders fighting against them. They seed the planet to 100%, and it becomes easy to keep it there until the flip. We just need to inform our unit pilots so they don't interfere.

I wouldn't count on it being a Clanner. Houses Marik and Liao stand to gain more from stirring trouble in the AFFC. We know for a fact some Inner Sphere mercenary units did exactly this to foment fighting between Clan Wolf and Clan Ghost Bear and it actually did escalate into a conflict for a day or two. We must be on our guard.

House Marik is too proud to wear Davion colours and Liao wouldn't know what to do with a 12 man if they had one. It is most likely Clanners.

Exactly. Marik wouldn't, Liao couldn't. It's probably a CSJ group from other faction folks. The guy keeps showing up trying to get a rise out of people. Here for a bit of attention, the actual tactic is a pretty pointless waste of time. He'd have been more productive fighting for his faction or an allied one so his time benefits them.

Whatever. They guy managed to get a rise out of 2 people. Was on the Davion TS all night, everyone else has pretty much forgotten.
