Hi, I've been trying to find any of the Ghost Bear mechs that are on sale for c-bills. Do these exist ? Everything i've been able to find in-game on the store tab take me out of the game to the website. Where everything clan is on sale for real money.

There is no Ghost Bear specific sale going on at the moment however there will likely be one soon assuming that the current string of faction sales continues.

That said, the Mad Dog was just released for CBills this week so if you don't mind paying full price by all means grab one and go to town.

Go to your mech lab.
At the top of where all the trial mechs are is a pull down menu.
select purchasable.
Then you should be able to buy any mech, clan or IS for C-bills or MC

hope that helps

Honestly thought you were joking about this when our paths crossed in game...

I guess i'm asking which ones are clan mechs i can bring into battles as a Ghost Bear ? I know I have a choice of trial mechs i can choose to take into clan matches: adder, kit fox, timberwolf, summoner, nova, and warhawk.

I'm completely unfamiliar with mechwarrior lore.

Clans bring clan mechs

IS bring IS mechs

It is that simple.

A member of any Clan faction can use any Clan 'Mech.

The Clan 'Mechs that are currently in game are:

Lights - Mist Lynx (25 tons), Kitfox (30 tons), Adder (35 tons)

Mediums - Ice Ferret (45 tons), Nova (50 tons), Stormcrow (55 tons)

Heavies - Mad Dog (60 tons), Hellbringer (65 tons), Summoner (70 tons), Timberwolf (75 tons)

Assaults - Gargoyle (80 tons), Warhawk (85 tons), Dire Wolf (100 tons)

For future reference, you can find all of this information (and much, MUCH more) at the Smurfy website: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/

ahh man just my luck the 6 mechs i've purchased up to now are all IS. No wonder i couldn't use any of them in faction matches. I thought there were special faction version of them or something. Now it all makes sense !

Yeah, that sucks man. You're just going to have to grind out a few more Clan chassis unless you switch back to an IS faction.

For the time being, since you're limited to Trial 'Mechs, the Stormcrow is one of the best Trials in the game (just so you know).

There are some Clan mechs / Variants that are favored by and therefore more common in the toumans of certain Clans, but that really only matters for role play purposes. There are faction mech lists floating around on this forum, so you might find one if you search.
