Ok I have been gone for the game for quite some time, several months. Recently came back and I started experiencing this weird bug where my engines are missing.
I have x2 Battlemasters one with an XL-320 another with XL-340.
They both have the alert that there is 1 or more slot violations. So I enter the mechbay and it tells me they have stripped my mech.
No biggie I'll just reapply my old build.
But I cant seem to find my stripped engines, I know several forum post have stated that it is a mechbay error but I have restarted my game several times and I still cannot find my engines.
I have not saved over any of the changes on my 2 Battlemasters as yet.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? if so how did they fix it?

Yeah its common, they go into limbo.
Cant find the exact post I followed but basically they arent gone and will come back.
Dont want to give the wrong process without finding the post I followed.
But I think if you strip the mech twice then save it the engines should be back in inventory.

This happens to me frequently. Lost engines, LRM's, SRM's, AMS, Beagle systems... The more I think about it, the less I am enjoying this game. 3 weeks in and everything is broken.
