Currently there is a problem in CW where Clans and IS factions are either getting too many factions to fight against for the amount of player's they have or too little amount of battles for the clans to participate in for how many player's they have.

To fix the problem of having steiner, FRR, and kurita being attacked by too many factions and to fix the problem where Clans don't have enough places to attack before the planet is fully capped at 100%:

I propose that all IS factions and all Clan Factions should be allowed to fight on attacking planets when it's IS vs Clans. The nearby planet under attack should go to the nearest bordered factions but the TAG can be from anyone who participated.

Inter-clan faction battles would still be handled between those two clans and Inter-IS factions battle would still be handled between those two IS factions just not IS vs CLAN battles.

Allowing IS forces and clan forces to attack each other instead of only defending would create two super factions at war with each other that should help with getting more battles fought in CW for everyone and allow factions that have less player's a chance with getting help with pushing the Clans or IS back.

While you making a suggestion to make the user experience for the very small minority of hardcore MWO players have a better gaming experience in CW.

What you are actually asking PGI to do is make each side a 'blob' and admit they failed to make a good enough gaming experience, to engage enough peoples interest, to make CW work.

it would be better if we would be allowed to attack all planets at the borders that are havign a lane to the homeplanet.

this way a faction could run the way they want, yet they have to make sure not to get cut off

Pugs could go to unimportant side border planets and "have fun" there. while most Units would go to theplanets of interest, which for clanners would be the way to terra.

This also would save PGI to impelment any weird algorrithm that probabaly just breaks or bugs.

In fact only 1 faction should attack or defend a planet for each battle ... Clan or IS house it's same .. no alliance.
