Here's the idea: Instead of making most users wade through the possibly tens of mechs that could have the module they're looking for equipped, we instead make a little window which contains the modules for that profile in it's entirety. The modules equipped there are what every 'mech drops with instead of giving individual module slots to every 'mech.
Instead of...
find mech you don't wan't to play but played last time> unequip modules > find mech you want to play > equip modules > drop with 'mech > rinse, repeat,
You now...
unequip modules > equip different modules > drop with 'mech
Or, not change anything at all, based on what that 'mech needs.
It also makes it so having more than one type of a module should no longer be needed or indeed, happen,at all.

For as long as Modules stay as they are, I'd like a single place as suggested over the current setup.

This would be great except that it wouldn't work too well with CW. Most mechs in a drop deck require different weapon modules and there's no chance to swap modules between mechs. What I'd really like is a separate module window accessible from the mechlab where we can see the table all of modules on each mech all at once and drag/drop modules as needed.

Id like a more efficient way to find and move modules but you seriously need to be buying modules per mech not rely on shuffling them. Its likes saying 'i own 1 med las why cant i have it automatically swap to the mech im using'
