Great fights tonight clanners. We fought hard, hit ceasefire, and saw the planet at 53%. Moments later, it dropped to 46%, and then 40%. We were heartbroken. We know it wasn't anyone on HKTS, so we were very disappointed to see the planet slip from our grasp.

Regardless, each fight was a lot of fun, so this wasn't a wasted experience. We've been honing our edge on the IS front, and now it's time to put it to good use on the clan border. If we can get one more 12 man active during this time frame, expect to start losing planets. ;)

o7 JGx, -SA-, and all the pugs who dropped against us. It was a wonderful experience, and we hope to get many more battles of such intensity. See you on the border.

indeed were some great fights tonight! there was definitely some cheering when the last organized unit dropped out and we saw 53%, only to see it keep falling. hats off to SA and JGX for good fights

I personally didn't get to take part in those battles but I'm glad to hear good matches were had!

DERP looks forward to many good fights with these Kurita 12 mans. it was a hell of a fight and I am sure my unit will agree with me about wanting to See DERP's name on Kilmarnok again keep up the good work. I hope the rest of your fellow kuritans follow your example in how you compose yourself

Sorry guys, but I think that light-rushes to gens - 1) noskill tactic, 2) nofun battle. When Kurita try to play in mechwarrior online, not genrush online, call me please.

Counters to light rush:

1) Aim

2) If 1 is not possible, BRING STREAKS YOU HAVE CLAN MECHS! duh lol. There is a reason light rushes don't work on everybody.

Besides, its obvious that when fighting your front, it is most important to secure wins quickly so what happened last night doesn't happen. So if we are against a bunch of pugs that is obviously the quickest way to win and queue up for another match.

In any case I am happy to be fighting on the clan front again. Have been wanting to for a while now so I am glad HK is now doing so here and there now.

Great fights last night all. I was certain we were going to take the planet. We had NS pilots sprinkled everywhere and we were actively winning. However you still pulled it out and kept the planet. I was disappointed but was happy with the HK effort and after our 2 week vacation on the sunny shores of Hanse Davion Island it was time to come back for some real work and you did not disappoint. Best matches in a while. See ya on the battlefield!

Our unit is very new but we've been eager to see how well we perform against some tougher clan units. Many thanks to you all in the Jaguars for fighting us last night, we had some great matches!

It might not take as much raw FPS skill to do gen rushes, it takes a lot of coordination and patience sometimes.

If you want a chance to take multiple planets a night you need to win as many as you can as fast as you can. This is the issue of the mode and the game not the players.

We lost few first battles, but win next few... And we win against this tactic today. I say that it is not fun. I like to fight against warriors who fight, to rise my skill, but this games are not fight, this only fanatic-rush.
I want to say sorry for my "fire". You guys are well coordinated yesterday and always wellcome to fight against us everyday. And thanks for some lessons. But now we know what would you do. Try to experiment now ;)
And sorry again :)

Either they are rushing with lights, or they are rushing with heavies/assaults. They are certainly not looking for a battle.

Battle as in attrition, no probably not, actually thinking about it I don't think I've ever fought against NS when they didn't rush in some way. (And would you believe the only time I've fought NS is when they were attacking? Even if it was a counter attack!)

NS has had some good fights with 228, I'm surprised to read this message. It hurts a little bit, right here.

I think I speak for all of us when I say a fight is preferred, but if we start to lose trades yeah going for the objective seems like the right thing to do. I seem to remember defending against 228th where after the initial sniping rounds consisted of tbr/hbr/scr rushes, one after another, so how is that different? Its kind of how the game is built so...

Attrition is always better, more c-bills. Unfortunately if we are racing against the clock (we are always racing against the clock on this front because of your numbers) it takes too long.
