It is not that everything is overpowered, in fact everything is underpowered, here are a few examples:

there is not a single weapon that can take out a fully armored Atlas with a single shot, therefore every weapon must be underpowered.

Assault Mechs cannot dodge incoming fire like Lights and Mediums therefore the Assault Mechs are underpowered

Light Mechs cannot survive a Daka Wolf unloading 6 UAC5s into them for 5 seconds without moving like an Atlas can, therefore Lights must be underpowered.

only a limited number of assault Mechs can pack the firepower that a Dire Wolf can, therefore Lights, Mediums and Heavies are all underpowered.

ECM does not protect your whole team from missiles if they are more than 180m away from you therefore ECM is underpowered

even if you pack 3 AMS, AMS range and AMS overload missiles can still hit you, therefore AMS is seriously underpowered

I cannot kill all 12 players on the enemy team alone in a Spider mounting nothing but TAG lasers (or with anything else for that matter) therefore I am underpowered
