If you look at the MWO intro page with the sliding anouncements / advertisments, on the Pirahna games 15 year anniversary picture the Atlas has 6 energy mounts on its arms, and 2 in its CT, what is going on there?

That's Russes Atlas, its got 2 ballistics per side torso, 4 missile hardpoints per side torso, 2 CT energy and 3 in each arm.

Quirks are "100% structural strength, LT, RT, CT, Arms.
100% Armor strength LT, RT, CT, Arms
Immune to ghost heat"

He uses it to hunt people who pester him about ghost heat, resized mechs, and quirk passes.

I only see 2 on each arm, but that would still be different than anything that's already been released. Or are you assuming that there's a 3rd (not visible) laser on each arm slung under the wrist?

Note, though, that those CT "lasers" might not actually be lasers. There are a number of chassis that have what look like lasers in the CT that don't actually have energy hardpoints there.

The underslung laser hardpoint is clearly visible on the left arm and you can see the slight outline of it on the right. And those are also laser lenses on the CT aswell. So 8 E harpoints... would be sweet!

Well... they are "giving away" the loyalty variant, so we know the hardpoints are there.

The thing is that it isn't a merger of the RS and D/K energy hardpoints... so technically it's misrepresented as currently shown. The S's energy is literally the same as the D or the K variants.

maybe they planned on it having that many hard points, but realized it basically out classes and does their Boar's head hero and thus were like "remove them!"

Sure enough. I couldn't get the image like that without the overlays, and at least on my screen the overlays completely covered the hand and wrist of the left arm.

I have very good eye sight, as a previous thread i created proves, as I also noticed a missing stripe from this DWs rear leg...



Couldnt this also be considered false advertising, for all the new people that dont know how to look up hardpionts and such?

Also WTHell did they put BH arms on the S? Did they know I would freak out like this???

If the arms are the same on both, sides, then there are 3 on each arm plus the 2 that appear to be CT (aquaish coloured bulbs / lens).

THIS would have been an interesting Loyality variant....
