Heyo, still not working, initial response of opening the patcher brings:
So I can choose to restore the program or wait for a response, in both cases it will continue and I can click "patch" but the downloadspeed is nearly nonexitent. like 13hours +
also choosing to wait for the programm is like serveal clicks and long waiting until it continues. to be able to click "patch" even
also, clicking restore brings up
which means that the transferconnection can not read data and the connection was softwarebased aborted by the hostcomputer.
cinfirming this makes em able to patch, but ass aid superslow.

That is a risky proposition, as that will require many downloads (as if you were downloading a new game) as a result.
I think there are some nodes that are choking under the weight of massive/multiple downloads...

is that normal that starting takes so long? it seems we have some connection issues to the source (at least its at the step obtaining remote file stats)
and IP w can make tracert to?

If it takes long to just download the manifest, just use task manager to end the program and then restart.
The problem is that the pipeline for just downloading can slow to a serious crawl and has been happening a bit for many patch days now.

I never had it with any patch and its extremely unusual slow like this. I can't imagine this is normal because i usually patch exactly at this time and it never was that bad.
would be nice if alex just states: superlaod everythign slow, try again later. that we we would know everything is going to be fine or getting told something is clearly broken.

For now, these are the recommended steps:
Slow download speeds
Through your Start Menu, search for and run Internet Options
Click the Connections tab
Click the LAN Settings button
De-select the Automatically detect settings box
'Applying Patch' process appears to hang, or is slow
It definitely can be slow, but more often than not it will complete. For now, try to let it do its thing. We're working to speed this up.
'Downloading Install Base'
This usually occurs when our server provider has not updated the particular server node your patcher is accessing. For now I recommend closing down your patcher when this process begins.
Then, flush your DNS, and attempt the patch process again.
Flushing your DNS:
1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
2. Type cmd and hit Enter.
3. In the command prompt window, type:
4. ipconfig /flushdns and hit Enter.
The patcher crashes when I open it or begin the patch process
First, try right-clicking on the MechWarriorOnline.exe and selecting 'Run as Administrator'
If the issue persists, try to apply the patch using the MWO Repair Tool instead.

I'm used to it.
Patching itself isn't slow (well, the under the hood stuff takes a while longer than the download), but my patch day routine (to minimized the crashing) requires the Repair Tool to do its job well on patch day. It kinda sucks at it when the downloading speed is atrocious.

The procedure helps. Thanks for the fast response. But try to write software that is not full of bugs instead of helping through workaround. I noticed and posted this error 2 or 3 weeks ago but nothing happens. This is not the best way to get money from people for you f2p game!
