Here is the link to source. Both are using the Resistance pattern and geometry so expect the regular version to be slightly different in look. Their quirks will be posted tomorrow but I bet both will be getting some energy quirks.

*Can somebody do a quick comparison shots with their teammate as the camera man and merge the pictures? I want to compare the Grasshopper with the Summoner and the Zeus with the Awesome.*

Grasshopper seems slim from the sides. The hardpoints are spot on.

And Zeus is not Awesome-wide. No fins though.

I'm liking them! Only gripe is that I have to wait almost 2 more months for them to come out in C-Bills, which seriously blows.

I'm waiting to see some comparisons next to known mechs, but if the Zeus is as thin as I think it is then the Awesome is more obsolete being huge and the same tonnage.....

Grasshopper looks very tall, and the arms don't seem to match the leg length in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

Dunno, the missile pod on the zeus looks cool, but it seems to just be a smaller battlemaster.

Nice, not regretting my Grasshopper purchase at all, looks great.

Zeus does too.

The Zeus look zoot. They really did a nice job capturing both chassis.

The zeus looks better than I expected.

The grasshopper looks like the big brother of the Panther. I hope it has the same crazy good hitboxes as the Panther or Enforcer. This pack turned out looking great... I'm not crazy about the Panther, but the overall package came out really well. And yes, I am fine with the Enforcer head.

Not 100% sure on the look of the Grasshopper, but the legs look interesting.

The Zeus looks really good, though.

As long as the JJ flames shoot out of the legs on the grasshopper, I'm fine.

The arm position for the Zeus seems decently high for a humanoid mech.

That's how it was drawn in the original art though. Probabaly because the guns are slung under the arms, thus necessitating the elevation of the arms. Besides, it is a Grasshopper--the hind legs are supposed to be very long in comparison to the arms. :D

I understand that, it just seems off visually for me for some reason. I think the problem I'm seeing the most with it is the cockpit though, it might have the same thing going on the hunchback has with that nose restricting view on the right.

The Awesome is the same tonnage as this Zeus, but I have a bad feeling that the Awesome just gets moved down another rung on the ladder since the Zeus looks to be a smaller target.

To me the Zeus's shoulders are inverted compared to what I'd find aesthetically pleasing (like large neck muscles),Grasshopper is less ugly than I expected.noice

So the Zeus appears to not be a copy of the AWS fatass geometry with different hardpoints...there may be hope for it yet.

Now do that same type of thing to the Warhawks arms that happened to the Zeus and then give it longer barrels and perfection.

But yes, that Zeus does look nice =D I just wish it was back in like.....2010?

Both look beautiful. The Zeus could easily suffer from Awesomitis, but it looks like it might well be a touch slimmer than the Battlemaster. The missile are looks great, too, though PGI did do something similar already with the Orions. I'm going to have to see the Grasshopper in person before I can really judge it, but it looks promising. High arms fit the TRO without looking dumb and while offering a bit of an advantage in a cluttered environment. Combined with JJs it should be a nice mech for rough terrain combat.

So why doesnt PGI give the AWS the Zeus treatment? Its not like it and 101 other mechs couldnt use a slimming down.

Gonna say that unless the whole shoulder area is arms, the Zus and XLs will NOT be getting along very well.

Which since it's armament is based around a heavy Ballistic and Missiles, could be an issue. Much will depend on hitbox layouts. As demonstrated by my "Worst Case, Probable and Best Case scenarios"

Cosmetically? Both look pretty dang good. So I'm gonna give the Resistance Pack a 9 out of 10, visually. The Enforcer's funky head being the only thing less than stellar, IMO.

Playwise, I find the PNT and ENF to be fun and solid, at least for non Comp Play. Be curious how these two stack up, but am very much hoping the Hopper will round out my Drop Deck.

Awesome does need a LOT of slimming though. I mean if I was making it, I would have made the Awesome the size of the Zues here. But PGI probably won't do that since they would be hard to separate.
