I don't think anyone actually uses sub tier-5 weapon modules (I know I don't) so can you just remove tiers altogether and have them unlock at max level for 3500 GXP? It's a minor thing, but will save people a lot of clicking in the long run.

so lets see you want to remove something because you don't use it?

how do you know no one actually uses it?

for all you know there are tons of people using it.

it is like someone saying "Lets remove all of the smallest std/xl Engines in the game because no one uses them"

After all you have no right to try and have something removed just because you don't like it.

People that don't have the full amount of GXP DO use the lesser versions till they have enough to upgrade it. It would be nice however, to have a way to purchase them as high as you have GXP for at the time, instead of having to keep clicking the same module over and over.

Now, you would have a point here if all the smallest STD and XL engines would weigh exactly the same as the biggest ones. So, no, it's not really like that at all.

All weapon modules at any level cost 3 million, and take 1 module slot. There is no choice, no personal preference - there just is no reason to ever use any weapon module lower than max level. What we have have with module levels is not variety or options. We just have to buy every single weapon module in parts. And it doesn't really make sense.

If you don't have the GXP to max it, the module isn't really worth it's C-Bill price before you do, anyway. (This part is obviously my personal opinion, yours may differ, and I can respect that.)

The UI would be less cumbersome to use if you didn't have to click 10 times to unlock a single weapon module. The idea isn't to remove stuff unliked by some, but to make the user interface more pleasant to use for everyone.

So you are saying a 3.8% bonus isn't better than a 0% bonus?

Or than 8% isn't better than 0%

Even the full 10% is a lot to ask for a 3 million Cbills.

Have you ever used a lower-tier weapon module?

Yes I have and do use lower weapon modules. Granted I'm far closer to clearing them out than most people are, but when I want to try out a different weapon system I'll usually grab one or both modules and put a point in them. The low bonus is far more useful than a 0% bonus and you earn c-bills way faster than gxp, especially if you are newer and saving up for the larger pilot skills.

Most people do way less xp grinding/converting than I do so the lower grades are definitely viable to boost on the back end while they grind the xp out.
