I actually don't like the ERLL sniper raven. I use MPLs and a NARC. It means you're usually covering your team, and when you get solid LRM support on a map that doesn't make LRMs useless NARC can completely destroy the enemy team. When you don't, it's still valuable scouting data for people to use and can shut down annoying ECM.

...and I get *much* higher damage numbers with the MPLs. That might be personal playstyle though.

I too am not a fan of the ERLL sniper Raven. In my 3L I have a tag, mlas, and streaks, and I find that I can do considerably more for my team with this build. One of the advantages of a light is that they can use their speed to get where they are needed. All too often I see a 3L alone sniping when he would be much more useful providing ECM for his team mates and helping them to focus down an enemy.

Also, I find it very easy to take out the sniper 3Ls when I am in either my 3L or my favorite ride, which is a Spider 5D with 3 mplas.
