Random headshots are very common since 2 patches ago. At first I thought I was seeing things, but I generally do not stand around to allow easy headshots, nor is my aim ever that good. I also notice a lot of shots going between mech arms and torsos when visually they should not. This leads me to believe that torso hitboxes are not entirely tracked by the engine, leaving the typically small areas too easy to exploit.

Clan mechs are easy to decapitate once you get into brawl and they overheat or ridge peek. The cockpit stands out in those iconic designs and once a player learns the spot, your ttd shrinks considerably. As for hitboxes having issues, I haven't noticed anything weird in relation to hitting where I wasn't aiming and getting an easy kill.

Welcome to reading comprehension 101. I described an issue noticed on all mechs, Clan and IS, including my enemies where I get random free headshots.

Good find, Modo, did notice having dealt 2 headies without even seeing them happen .
So, PGI, got some info or insights ?
Guess not, but asking costs nothing .
