we need more freaking people...Saturday I looked at the que for Ballynore and it was 99+ for both attackers and defenders and I thought "hell yea, we got a fight going on here and CJF has come out to play." I decide to que up and help and Steiner had 5 teams waiting to get a match...5!...there were 11 fights going on so we had 132 falcons pitching in for the effort and Steiner had enough people to line up 5 extra teams just to make sure we didn't ghost drop. Good fights though:) On the plus side, we lost the fewest worlds out of all the clans this weekend. Good job on the IS pushing us like your life depended on it.

Last night, right after ceasefire ended (less than 10 minutes after), there was 1 attacker on Ballynure and 42 defenders. An attack hadn't even been launched yet. There's no way to make headway against those kinds of numbers being thrown at you, even if you win 100% of your matches. Same thing on defense vs larger numbers. There's no way to get a counter attack unless the planet is already 100% capped or all available attack zone have battles in progress. Until PGI can figure out a population balancing mechanic, don't sweat counting planets. Just look for a good fight and enjoy the game. I find defending a planet is much more challenging than pug stomping a rainbow team of defenders, so all I've been doing for a week now is dropping on defense. There's nothing more satisfying in this game than taking a team of random people and beating a pre-made team of attackers.

Yeah, the crazy thing is winning 95% of your matches and still losing planets. Some great drops though, and at the end I started just jumping in other areas of the front and seeing how the front was going - landed in a nice kurita vs smoke jag fight.

Actually Kurita attacked them as well. We only managed to snag one planet from them though.

Kurita could've had more, but we were kinda busying with the Jags, Bears, and Wolf (mostly Wolf).

Had we been more focused, we would've given the Falcons a turn at the wheel.

Seriously, I respect seeing you guys trying to fend off Steiner.

Looks like the FRR has finally pushed through Wolf and gotten to Falcon now too.

We will have to see how we hold up for the last few days prior to event ending or if there are any Falcons left after this is over.

Quite relevant to this is the announcement on Twitter today by Russ that changes will be made to CW matching so that the more numerous side cannot lock the less numerous side out of making progress on a planet. Instead, when teams are matched against each other, they'll have a 50/50 chance of getting invasion or counter attack games. Should give smaller factions quite a bit of help.

Great event and I had so much fun dropping on Ballynure and Pandora

The fact that I played only counter attack all weekend is a worry but Russ has proposed a fix to that.

Most of my drops were against mixed IS rather than Steiner.

CJF is underrepresented on CW. Additionally, I'm only playing with CJF clans that usually aren't represented on these boards. Shout out to GSG9, 4 20, and DSx; these are the three CJF teams I seem to play with most on CW just out of random luck.

GSG9 is "a little" inactive when it comes to CW, unfortunately. Besides myself I only remember Sir Callahan playing CW regularly with his 14% TBR.
