How About Fixing The Patcher?

Seriously.

The patch tonight is 154 MB in size. The download time read 2 HOURS and 25 minute.

TWO AND A HALF HOURS for 154 MB... that MEGAbytes.

What the hell? How is that even considered acceptable performance? The patcher is using less than 2% of the available bandwidth. This is utterly ridiculous.

I'm a software project manager and if I went to my bosses and told them our simple download and patch tool takes over 2 hours to download a file smaller than most digital photos are today, I'd be updating my resume for failing to fulfill the simplest of the requirements.

Maybe it's time for you guys to upgrade the 56K modem on the download server.
