Keep in mind guys, that THIS was done with nothing but the Concept art. The fact that his model looks closer to the artwork than (SOME) of the PGI's models, is mind-boggling.

I think old model's from beta were much more interesting and detailed.. animations were better too.

The OP's model is way better than the PGI model. PGI model does not look very proportionate. Looks like the PGI mauler skipped a lot of leg days. They should really hire him!

They always seem to put out really great concept art, then let us down with final versions of the mechs. Another one they messed up is the Centurion. Look at the concept art: http://cdn.gamerant....Concept-Art.jpg The in-game version is not as well proportioned as the concept art.

They need to get a new 3D Modeler as well as a UI designer.

Worst offenders for me are the Quickdraw, Centurion and maybe the Enforcer's head

But to be honest, some mechs in-game look better than their concept arts, mostly the Banshee and the Orion.

It doesn't mater if it is better or worst than the one made by the OP, it is the Mauler and it is coming to the game!

Models are very good with few exceptions that could look more like the concept art (like the Timber Wolf).

And PGI got a new UI designer. He is in the last dev video log. Mr. Dorito-something. I think he did already a good job (with the new mech selection stuff).

I love how this looks like, if not better as the concept art, PGIs model doesnt even have the tilted shoulder plates

Hopefully he will make the UI and mech selection for lobbies and CW better. Hate how i can select a mech but have NO clue what is fitted to it unless i memorize the fittings. There's just so much inconsistency. They need to like, modulize the new mech selection window and use that for lobbies and CW.
