Greetings MechWarriors,
We will be rolling out a hot-fix today (Wednesday May 6th) tentatively scheduled for 3:00 PM PDT, with the following change:
  • Community Warfare: Restoring the DropShips to Vitric Forge

The estimated downtime for this hot-fix will be approximately 30 minutes.

When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.

Before I patched everything worked correct, now after the patch MWO is not able to start. Repair tool has the problem not been solved...

"system error: the programm can not start because XINPUT1_3.dll missing on the computer. Install the programm again to resolve the issue."

Not nice....wanted to use just my little free time between family and work to play something and not wrangle me with system errors....

Install DX9 updates first (even while you are running Vista or later) and that should go away.

You will likely need to use/install MSVC 2010 x64 runtimes as well.

If you want to avoid all of this, set your frontend/patcher to force 32-bit client.

Missed this news and got kicked out mid match. Actually doing really well. Ho hum never mind :)

I'm really glad you fix these things as you can rather than waiting for the next official patch. It's disruptive but it makes the game better every time. Keep up the great work pgi :)

not to be mean or angry but does PGI have any QA guys? because either they don't or you need some new ones, it kind of makes your game look bad and like noobs are making it and don't get me wrong I love this game but we need to make it look really good if it's going to do well on steam. just my two cents. and yes if you need QA people I would love to do it or anything else to help this game.

Those who were in a game got a message 10 minutes before... :-)
Our team decided to make a hard death ball .... we won 2 minutes before the downtime! ^^

Yeah, the 10 minute warning came up at match start and we didn't finish in time. Was down to a couple of sticks on each side :D

Lol...that almost always seems to happen. Patch notice comes, and everyone says screw it and a giant mech mosh pit of death forms. Always fun. :D

And all the Urbies run to the middle of it all and go Death Blossom.
