Sounds like you have a very similar laptop to the one I was using, maybe a little better vid card though. I couldn't even get it up to 10 fps in standard drops, but CW is a fair bit more spread out.

Also glad to see you won't be stuck lrm'ing anymore! XD

Hush I like my LRM's. LOL. It would seem that my hit detection is up. HSR doesn't have to carry my fat a$$ anymore. Brawling is definitely doable now.

Well if you CHOOSE to LRM no one will mind I'm sure. One of the few guys out there that knows how to make them work.

Brawling is just more fun, and I've been back to primarily Commandos and clan lights. Kind of wish I could drop 4 Commandos for the IS side.

It's a reinforcement loop problem. I check in, no one's there, don't feel like TS3 with a gaggle of randoms, less likely to be on/play. If it weren't for Xaositect I don't know that I would have dropped with an OLD in the week before the event.

Rinse and repeat.

You need to figure out a way to mount a 24"-27" monitor and a cradle for your laptop in your rig. I would think being able to actually, you know, see what you're shooting at is also helpful.

I believe a few of the original members might be the same ones you battled there. I joined up I believe early in open beta, maybe one of the old guys has enough memory to remember, but it's been some time for sure and most of the core group has been solid for as long or longer.

Dropping with OLDs in the Battle of Tukayyid was the best fun I ever had in MWO. I can't wait for more events like this.

Unfortunately OLD is concetrated in NA time zone, so players in EU (like me) will need to play in the dark :F

Well my contract should run out about 1 or 2pm my time tomorrow so I'll be ready for rounds after that. Just need to find modules and create a new IS drop deck.

Panzer you were always fun to have around, so if I'm not on your list add me, I'll be off for the summer in a few weeks and if I don't take another job on chances are I'll be online for those times to at least do group drops if I'm still touring for mechbays.

Too bad the IS/Resistance event doesn't include CW matches. I'll be on, but playing Solo or Group drops for the event.

It would be nice at least to group up with OLD for regular drops though. I really prefer the CW game mode, but I want to contribute to the kill counter.

Resistance and Urbie are the only packs I've ever purchased, so I haven't gotten to contribute to the kill counter yet.

Edit: What's with the Davion stuff? When did we go Davion?!?!?
