I haven't had trouble with MWO outside some random disconnects until today (in fact I played yesterday). Btw I haven't downloaded or changed anything since it last worked.

Today every time I get to the login, enter my password, and hit enter the screen flcikers like usual (to adjust res, which is ironically not really needing to change) and then stays black. I can wait ten minutes or more and nothing happens.

I've run the repair tool, I've tried the 32bit client rather than 64bit, I've restarted my PC, etc... But regardless of what I do instead of loading the mech lab interface or seeing 'connecting' I just still have a black screen. Eventually I need to force MWO to close.

Any suggestions?

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Radeon HD 6970 with Catalyst 14.12 drivers

Been getting black-screens at random; CAD out to find it not responding.

First time it did it; I had defraged so went ahead and ran the tool. After that was done, logged in, seemed fine. Then at the end of a match I just completed; black screened again; and had to CAD/Task manager end program.

Well I did a full re-install since nothing else was working... and that worked... once. I had to go after testing if it could get past the login screen (It did), then I needed to go make dinner. So I logged out and exited MWO. I finish dinner and come back to try to start MWO and it stops responding after login after working just that once. x.x

I can't spend 4 hours re-installing MWO every time I want to play. x.x

Black screening like crazy. And, I'm not running repair again, 4 times is enough, already. What is going on?

I have black-screened 6 times, tonight. It happens when the screen is supposed to switch to a new one.
